Business Development Manager

Role:

·          Development and implementation of business development and sales strategy

·          Promoting the company brand

·          Identifying new and suitable business opportunities

·          Helping  to build new as well as managing existing customer relationships

·          Assist in preparing bids and commercial proposals

·          Negotiate contracts

·          Prepares sales action plans and  monthly sales reports and

·        Assist Management Team in Sales and Business Development activities across all profit centres          (Private Networks, Utility Networks and Rail Networks)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

·          BSc and or HND in Electrical Engineering.

·          Strong background in technical sales in the rail industry in particular and with Main Contractors.

·          Strong background in electrical projects incorporating HV/LV infrastructure.

·          Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

·          Knowledge of project finance, budgeting, cost estimating.

·          Advance IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Project.

·          Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.

·          Knowledge of business practices and procedures.

·          Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Commercial Engineer / Quantity Surveyor

Project Engineer

Main Purpose: The purpose of this role is to provide Electrical Power Engineering support for Project Managers and Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Provide Electrical Engineering expertise throughout project life-cycle (tendering/ procurement/ design/ installation/ commissioning).

·        Produce Method Statements for Engineering Installation works.

·        Supervise site installation and commissioning where required.

·        Carry out site testing of HV protection schemes.

·        Carry out testing and commissioning of transformers, switchgear and associated control schemes.

·        Assistance with staff training and development planning/support.

·        Client interface/meetings.

·        Project implementation and management of site staff.

·        Technical/Safety Audits & inspections.

·        Bid/tender assistance and occasional sales support.

Qualifications:

·        Electrical Power Engineering qualification, HNC level preferred.

·        Computer literacy (CAD Experience essential).

·        Health and Safety (IOSH/NEBOSH) desirable.

Experience preferred:

Essential:

·        Broad knowledge of power engineering plant and equipment, i.e. Transformers, Switchgear, cables, protection schemes.

·        Responsibility for implementation (installation & commissioning) of large HV installations.

Desirable:

·        DNO experience (either directly employed or via a sub-contractor) or experience on sites with a large HV network.

·        Operational switching (SAP/AP) experience on 11kV/33kV networks.

Responsibilities

·        Handle customer orders and enquires in a professional and proactive manner

·        Liaising with clients regarding compatible products and services whilst maintaining first class customer service

·        Ensure customer is aware of availability, pricing and appropriate discounts

·        Monitor outstanding orders, keeping customers fully updated on progress

·        Provide electrical expertise in selection of technology based product

·        Update database using in-house system and handle associated paperwork and administration

·        Liaise with Manager regarding issues or concerns

·        Liaise with sales engineers, other departments and branches as and when required

·        Working to procedures and H&S standards

Credit Controller

This fast-paced marketing company is looking to recruit an experience Account Manager with some media buying and or planning experience. Ideally, you will come from a background, which includes working across several Medias.

·        Working on a range of client accounts at the same time, often juggling various projects and deadlines

·        Experience of dealing with high profile accounts desirable

·        Digital marketing & campaign experience would be a distinct advantage

·        Strong communication and account management skills

·        Liaising and building relationships with clients and media sales companies
